THIRUVANANTHAPURAM

Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of the state of Kerala. The city comprises beautiful beaches, long stretches of palm fringed shorelines, windy backwaters and historical structures.In the late 17th century, the city was the capital of the Travancore kingdom that was ruled by the Varma dynasty.After forming theTravancorekingdom,Maharaja Marthanada Varma dedicated it to Lord Padmanabha, the presiding deity of Shri Padmanabhaswamy temple and named the city ‘Thiruvananthapuram’. Thiruvananthapuram is also a paradise for beach lovers, the famous Shankhumugham and Kovalam beaches are situated outside the city.

Day 1 KOVALAM

On arrival in Trivandrum Airport meet our representative and transfer to the palm- fringed beach of Kovalam, one of the most famous beach towns in India. The boundless blue waters of the Arabian Sea and miles of white sand washed away by the surf, make this beach a veritable paradise on earth. Overnight in Kovalam

Day 2 THIRUVANANTHAPURAM CITY TOUR

After breakfast proceed on a city tour of Thiruvananthapuram visit PadmanabhaSwamiTemple, Horse Palace (Kuthira Malika), Napier museum and Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery. Afternoon free for shopping and later return to Kovalam. Evening is free to enjoy Sun, Sea and Sand at leisure. Overnight in Kovalam.

Day 3 KOVALAM TO KOLLAM (approx. 80kms/02:30hrs)

Kollam, the gateway to Kerala’s beautiful backwater is blessed with plenty of unique features like- sea, lakes, plains, mountains, rivers, streams, backwaters, lush green fields and tropical crop of every variety both food crop and cash crop, so called The Gods Own Capital. After breakfast proceed to Kollam

After breakfast check out of the hotel and transfer to Kollam.Upon arrival check in to the hotel and have refreshments, later visit the places like Thevalli Palace- renowned palace situated on the banks of AshtamudiKayal backwater,Thangasseri – that houses ruins of Portughese and Dutch structures,Thirumullavaram Beach, Mayyand- noted for its shrines and temples, most importantly the Subramanya temple at Umayanall. Overnight in Kollam.

Day 4 KOLLAM

After breakfast, enjoy the breath taking views of Munroe Island with a leisurely country boat ride experiencing the Village Life of Kollam. Visit Coir Making Unit, Net Fishing demo, Tasting Tender Coconut etc. en-route the ride, In the afternoon

Day 5 KOLLAM DEPARTURE

After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Trivandrum International
